Senior Emissions Advisor

SaskEnergy is seeking a qualified and motivated individual to join our team. The Senior Emissions Advisor provides experienced and advanced professional environmental services to responsibly reduce air emissions and manage compliance with greenhouse gas and air pollutant regulations. This involves identifying improved industry practices and technologies, liaising with regulators and industry partners, and implementing emission reduction improvements throughout the corporation. The Senior Emissions Advisor is also responsible for leading collaborative efforts to achieve the target of reducing operational greenhouse gas emissions. This role requires thriving in a fast-paced and rapidly evolving regulatory environment while working collaboratively with various internal and external stakeholders to drive change and meet environmental stewardship commitments. Position Details* Non-union. This position is permanent full time.

Key Accountabilities* Provide technical expertise for the development and maintenance of environmental standards and procedures ensuring consistency in the interpretation of legislation and delivery of programs.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities* Degree in Environmental/Natural Sciences or Engineering.

A suitable combination of relevant education and experience may also be considered. Additional Information* Travel, including overnight stays away from bid headquarters, is required on occasion.
