Job Title: Senior Electrical Superintendent - PV Solar Systems
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Electrical Superintendent to oversee the electrical aspects of our community photovoltaic (PV) solar system projects, including rooftop, carports, and ground-mounted installations. This senior role is critical in ensuring the safe, efficient, and high-quality execution of electrical works on our solar projects.
· Lead and manage electrical construction activities for PV solar systems, ensuring adherence to project schedules, quality standards, and safety regulations.
· Supervise and coordinate the work of electrical subcontractors and internal teams, providing technical guidance and support.
· Conduct regular inspections and quality checks on electrical installations to ensure compliance with industry standards, local codes, and project specifications.
· Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop and implement electrical plans and procedures.
· Identify and resolve any electrical issues or discrepancies that arise during the construction phase.
· Maintain detailed records and documentation of electrical works, including as-built drawings, test results, and inspection reports.
· Ensure proper use and maintenance of electrical tools, equipment, and materials on site.
· Provide training and mentorship to junior electrical personnel and promote best practices for electrical construction and safety.
· Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in PV solar systems and integrate them into our projects.
· Extensive experience in electrical construction, preferably in the PV solar industry, with a strong track record of successful project delivery.
· In-depth knowledge of PV solar systems, including rooftop, carport, and ground-mounted installations.
· Strong understanding of electrical codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
· Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
· Proficiency with electrical tools, equipment, and relevant software.
· A combination of education and experience will be considered
· This position involves fieldwork at various installation sites, for planning, documentation, and reporting.
· Must be comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions.
· Ability to lift and move equipment as required.
