Senior CNC Programmer/Machinist

CNC Programmer with extensive MasterCam experience programming 5-axis CNC mills and Y-axis CNC Mill-turns.

Responsibilities

- Develop CNC programs for production runs on HAAS VF4SS Mill with 5-axis trunion

- Develop CNC programs for production runs on HAAS ST20Y Mill-turn with live tooling

- Analyze drawings to determine dimensions and to choose cutting tools, machine speeds, and feed rates

- Provide material specification and tooling needs to procurement

- Accurately quote machine time, set up time, and NRE

- Coordinate with CNC operators during first article fabrication to ensure specification compliance for resulting parts

- Troubleshoot issues reported by CNC operators during the manufacturing process

- Work Sr Machinist in production when necessary

Position requirements

- Completion of a technical or associate degree program or equivalent certification course OR

- 10 years experience programming HAAS 3- and 5-axis CNC mills and mill-turns

- Extensive familiarity with Mastercam and Solidworks toolchain

- Ability to coordinate supply chain and procurement of materials and tooling

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $38.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
