Description Position Summary
The Senior Asset Reliability Engineer will provide risk assessment engineering to support all Pilot Water Solution’s Pipeline and Salt Water Disposal facilities. This individual will collaborate with operations engineering, data analytics, report risk metrics, and provide subject matter expertise for equipment and pipeline integrity, non-destructive testing and risk-based inspections. Salary commensurate with experience. This individual will report to the manager of Asset Integrity and Reliability and work closely with field operations and engineering teams. The role will be based primarily in Houston or Midland, Texas with expected travel to other company’s sites and areas of operations.

Essential Job Requirements
- Performs threat assessment and risk analysis, reports on integrity risk assessments of pipelines and SWD facilities using tools and techniques to support department objectives and stakeholder's requests.
- Identifies high consequence areas and manage risk assessment tools utilizing good engineering judgement, reliability knowledge, and other areas of technical expertise.
- Understands the consequences and overall risk posed by degradation on pipeline and process equipment and be able to perform remaining Strength and Fitness for Service analyses.
- Designs, plans, initiates, performs, and monitors inspection programs with both internal and 3rd party NDT/NDE personnel, and interprets and assesses information generated during the inspection programs.
- Assess a variety of historical inspections, operational conditions, processes, and corrosion control data to adequately assess and give direction on the further inspection and operation of pipeline and process equipment.
- Provides oversight, guidance and support to the Engineering, Operations, Asset Reliability and SWD Teams.
- Supports the oversight and implementation of the Corporate Maintenance Management System - Maximo.
- Ensures that corrective actions are taken to prevent recurrence of issues, and that corrective actions are identified and implemented in a timely manner.
- Ensures timely investigations into all incidents and liaises with appropriate stakeholders.
- Assists with other assigned duties and projects based on business needs.
- Analyzes hydraulic models to predict operational pinch points.
- Assists in developing further design specifications if merited to improve cost and performance.
- Form criteria and performance specifications for facilities and equipment necessary to meet unique operating requirements and safety codes.
- Plans, designs, and oversee the reconfiguration, maintenance, and alteration of facilities and new wells.
- Advises to help with surface facility project execution and optimization from detailed design to completion when required.
- Ensures the safe and timely delivery of projects within the agreed budget, quality, and schedule.
- Determines ways that processes can be refined to help facilities run more efficiently.
- Determines focused needs for current infrastructure and upcoming projects and develop management control systems that will reduce costs.
- Prepares engineering specifications, statements of work, and estimates for a wide range of facility related projects.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
- 5 years of engineering experience in the oil and gas industry in two or more of the following areas: Risk Management, Corrosion Engineering, or Pipeline integrity related projects and programs.
- Strong experience with Computerized Maintenance Management System Software.
- Strong knowledge of risk assessment methodologies and Degradation Mechanisms.
- Strong knowledge of facility siting methodologies and approaches.
- Strong working knowledge of relevant API, ASME, CCPS, and NACE standards.
- Root Cause Analysis Incident Investigation Training, preferably Comet.
- Able to travel as needed; >50%.

- Experience with Maximo CMMS software or comparable aptitude with other CMMS software’s.
