Job Description

Position Overview:

As a Senior Analyst on the Power Trading desk, you will be a member of the team that is responsible for optimizing returns on transactions for Invenergy’s fleet of Renewable and Natural Gas assets in the United States and Canada, ensuring that transactions maximize gross margins within pre-defined risk limits, and actively seek opportunities to minimize credit exposure and reduce transaction costs.

Minimum Qualifications:* Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science, Economics, Math, Business, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:* Knowledge of energy markets: ERCOT, PJM, SPP, NYISO, and MISO - other industries good (like commodity, financial markets)

Base Pay

75,000.00 - 95,000.00 USD Annual

Bonus: 15%

The base pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for the position. Invenergy considers a number of factors when determining base pay offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education and skills.
