Position Overview JOB DESCRIPTION
The Senior Analyst, Environmental and Regulatory Projects will advise on federal agency requirements and industry standards relevant to the permitting, construction and operation of Liquefied Natural Gas (“LNG”) facilities. Under general supervision, the Senior Analyst will support permitting tasks related to capital development projects, including all phases of the FERC regulatory process, environmental permitting, and regulatory support of LNG and pipeline projects in the development and construction phases. This position reports directly to the Manager, Environmental and Regulatory Projects, which is within the Corporate Environmental Department.
KNOWLEDGE
Expertise in U.S. regulatory requirements, policies, guidance, and industry standards, including those relevant to FERC Natural Gas Act (“NGA”) Section 3 and Section 7 permitting and PHMSA regulations applicable to the design and construction of LNG and pipeline facilities. In depth understanding of applicable federal regulations, codes, and standards relevant to LNG and pipeline facilities such as NPFA 59A, 49 CFR 193 and API 752, 753 and 756. Broad understanding of federal, state, and local regulations, codes, standards and permits required to construct LNG and pipeline facilities, including but not limited to the Natural Gas Act and National Environmental Policy Act. An understanding of the various engineering disciplines related to design and construct LNG facilities as well as hazard modeling software and layers of protection.

Highly functional in both team and individual effort projects. + Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills. + Organized and able to manage multiple activities and programs timely and with a high degree of accuracy. + Comprehensive understanding of pool and jet fires, vapor dispersion, toxicity, thermal radiation, explosions and BLEVE hazards related to LNG facilities. + Understanding of plot plans, PFDs, P&IDs, H&MBs, specifications, data sheets and equipment lists. + Problem solving and analytical skills. + Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision in a dynamic work environment. + Experienced with Microsoft Office Suite consisting of Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.

The Senior Analyst has a high degree of aptitude in their field and requires moderate supervision. The Senior Analyst shall be empowered to recommend corrective actions as needed and will document the corrective actions that may have violated company policy or laws and regulations pursuant to facility regulatory requirements, permits or authorizations.
