The Senior Accountant will be responsible for preparing technical accounting analysis and consolidated financial data, including the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a thorough knowledge of IFRS accounting principles, and an organized approach to ensure the timely delivery of accurate and useful financial reports.
· Review the reasonability of monthly financial information submitted by [20] subsidiaries. Liaise with Mexico and Peru accounting teams to ensure financial information is accurate and complete.
· Prepare monthly consolidated financial statements and working papers.
· Assist in preparation of quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements.
· Assist in the coordination of the Company's quarterly reviews / annual audits.
· Document, maintain and strengthen internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR).
· Help maintain compliance with IFRS accounting standards and regulatory requirements across the organization, both for group reporting and statutory reporting.
· 3-5 years of experience in Audit, Accounting, Financial Reporting

Experience working in a large public company (SOX) or public practice.
· Able to execute and follow-through to completion and documentation.
· An individual that is engaged, positive, proactive and a team player
Excellent English verbal and written communication skills. Spanish is an asset
Experience with multiple subsidiaries and multicurrency consolidation would be an asset
The expected salary range for this position is CA$90,000 – CA$100,000, in line with the competitive job market for such roles carried out in British Columbia. Salary ranges are strictly guidelines and any jobs offer received by a candidate will be determined on a number of factors such as relevant education, training, and/or experience
