Four Seasons Outdoor Living Group (FSOLG) is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team located in Holbrook, New York. FSOLG is one of the largest manufacturers of sunrooms, screen enclosures, patio covers. Motorized pergolas and other shade solutions for outdoor living spaces. FSOLG is a solid, growth-driven company delivering quality products. Through 20 locations across the US, we serve contractors with their building product’s needs.

As part of the national headquarters, accounting for over $150 million in sales, you will work in a dynamic environment as a key team member running the centralized accounting and reporting functions for the business.

Responsibilities:

- Support the monthly, quarterly and yearly financial close for various subsidiaries.

- Perform monthly account analysis including the review of balance sheet and expense accounts to ensure transactions are processed in a manner which is consistent with corporate accounting procedures

- Perform monthly close functions including recording entries and analysis in order to produce monthly financial package.

- Reviews, verifies, and reconciles inter-company activity, to ensure accuracy of various accounts, and follows-up with other accounting personnel in order to resolve clerical or procedural errors.

- Resolve problems regarding certain procedures such as general ledger, inventory, or new department codes, to ensure accurate processing of accounting data.

- Compliance work including tax, business licenses, etc.

- Reviews accounting transactions and reports.

- Assists management with various special projects or analyses by gathering accounting data and/or financial information, to provide accurate information on which policy or other accounting decisions can be based

- Maintain record keeping on fixed assets balances and leases.

- Maintain internal controls and corporate policy and suggest control improvements

- Perform technical research for subsidiaries

- Other Ad Hoc requests from Management

Required Skills:

- Our ideal candidate will have worked in a manufacturing business.

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and 5+ years of Accounting experience required

- Should be familiar with computerized accounting systems (particularly mid-to-large enterprise ERP systems), and possess good verbal communication skills and strong computer skills

- Must possess strong MS Office skills, especially Microsoft Excel

- Must be highly organized and regimented

Pay: $82,000.00 - $87,000.00 per year
