Western Midstream is a master limited partnership formed to own, develop, acquire, and operate midstream assets. We are engaged in the business of gathering, compressing, treating, processing, and transporting natural gas; gathering, stabilizing, and transporting condensate, natural gas liquids (NGLs), and crude oil; and gathering, transporting, and disposing of produced water for our customers.

Our core assets provide services for customers in the Delaware Basin in West Texas and New Mexico, and the DJ Basin in northeastern Colorado. Additional assets and investments are located in South Texas, Utah, and Wyoming.

Job Summary:

Western Midstream seeks a Security Analyst to join the Health, Safety, Environment and Security organization located in Mentone, TX. The position will focus on providing security services to protect the Western Midstream personnel and assets in West Texas and Southeast New Mexico (WTX Area).

Qualifications:

The qualifications for a successful candidate are:

- 8 years’ experience in Law Enforcement

- Extensive knowledge of personnel and asset protection

- Exceptional written and verbal communications abilities

- External and internal liaison skills

Responsibilities:

- Responsible for all field level Security for WES’ WTX Area personnel and assets.

- Responds to Security incidents and conducts follow-up investigation as needed.

- Drafts Facility Security Plans, Threat and Vulnerability Assessments for (WTX Area) facilities.

- Conducts frequent site visits to field sites to identify potential security related gaps.

- Coordinates with Security Service vendors for additional security coverage when required.

- Coordinates with internal partners and external vendors to repair equipment and mitigate gaps.

- Conducts Security-related training for field staff.

- Maintains liaison with federal, state, and local law enforcement (LE) in WTX Area.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in a Security related field preferred or significant relevant experience

Certification/Licenses:

Reserve Peace Officer or Retired Peace Officer Status

Firearms Certified and Qualified annually

Relocation:

This position is not eligible for relocation.

Travel Requirements:

Travel may be required up to 25%.

Work Schedule:

This position will work Monday through Thursday for 9 hours, and Friday for 4 hours. This position will not be eligible for remote work.
