Second-in-Command (SIC) – Citation 560XL

The Greenbrier Hotel | Lewisburg, WV (LWB)

The Greenbrier Hotel is seeking a qualified Second-in-Command (SIC) for our Citation 560 Excel.

Position Details:

•

Base Salary: $100,000 per year

•

Schedule: Set schedule, 5 days per week

•

Bonus Opportunity: Additional pay available for extra flight days

Minimum Requirements:

•

1,500 hours total flight time

•

500 hours in turbine-powered aircraft

•

FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate with Instrument Rating

•

Jet time preferred

•

No accidents or incidents

Duties

•

Lead and supervise military personnel in various operations, ensuring adherence to protocols and procedures.

•

Develop strategic plans and tactics to achieve operational objectives.

•

Maintain effective communication with team members and higher command, fostering a culture of teamwork and collaboration.

•

Conduct training sessions to enhance the skills of personnel in areas such as customer service, public speaking, and language proficiency (English, Hindi, French).

•

Oversee the maintenance of equipment and resources necessary for mission execution.

•

Provide guidance and support to subordinates, promoting professional development and leadership growth.

•

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational standards.

Experience

•

Proven experience in a leadership role within a military or similar environment is essential.

•

Strong background in supervising teams, with an emphasis on militarised operations.

•

Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of Hindi or French is a plus.

•

Demonstrated ability in public speaking and effective communication skills.

•

Experience in customer service is beneficial for interacting with various stakeholders.

•

Familiarity with aviation operations is an asset.
