Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and innovative Engineer to join our dynamic team within a manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in process engineering and be adept at working with schematics, programming, solid models, reverse engineering, tool design, and problem solving. You will play a crucial role in the design, development, and optimization of manufacturing processes, ensuring efficiency and quality throughout the production cycle.

Duties

•

Develop casting and tooling CAD models using SolidWorks

•

Calculate gating and risering systems for existing and new cast product

•

Simulate gating systems using fluid flow and solidification analysis

•

Generate 3D printing

•

Interpret optical metrology scan data using Polyworks and import into SolidWorks

•

Collect and analyze data from 3D printed tooling

•

Responsible for management of 3D printers

•

Collaborate with department heads to solve problems

Requirements

•

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field, preferred.

•

Experience with robot programming is a plus.

•

Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex engineering problems.

•

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to collaborate effectively with team members.

•

Preferred experienced with MAGMA

•

Must be experienced with Solid Works.

•

Must be experienced with designing gating systems and patterns.
