Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and innovative Engineer to join our dynamic team within a manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in process engineering and be adept at working with schematics, programming, solid models, reverse engineering, tool design, and problem solving. You will play a crucial role in the design, development, and optimization of manufacturing processes, ensuring efficiency and quality throughout the production cycle.
Duties
•Develop casting and tooling CAD models using SolidWorks
•Calculate gating and risering systems for existing and new cast product
•Simulate gating systems using fluid flow and solidification analysis
•Interpret optical metrology scan data using Polyworks and import into SolidWorks
•Collect and analyze data from 3D printed tooling
•Responsible for management of 3D printers
•Collaborate with department heads to solve problems
Requirements
•Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field, preferred.
•Experience with robot programming is a plus.
•Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex engineering problems.
•Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to collaborate effectively with team members.
•Preferred experienced with MAGMA
•Must be experienced with Solid Works.
•Must be experienced with designing gating systems and patterns.
