Scale Operator

Job Summary/Overview

This position is responsible for the safe, productive operation and daily maintenance of the scale house

Duties & Responsibilities:

· Adhere to and follow all safety rules and regulations per working site ( MSHA/DOT/DEP/OSHA)

· Adhere to and follow all company safety rules and regulations

· Weight and certify all products and trucks

· Handle and maintain all daily COD payments

· Maintain and record all COD weekly reports

· Check gross truck weight per regulations

· Do daily sand testing

· Communication with truck drivers

· Handle delivery tickets

· Maintain all sales reports and submit to the right department when needed

· Assist site superintendent as required and/or needed

Skills & Qualifications:

· Strong computer skills

· Good communication skills

· Time management and organizational skills

· Ability to work hours when schedule may vary

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
