Scale House Operator

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Scale Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately weighing vehicles and materials using scale computers and software, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong computer, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

- Operate scales to weigh incoming and outgoing trucks.

- Communicate and collaborate with team members.

- Perform basic math calculations to verify weights and quantities of products.

- Input and maintain accurate records of materials, weights, customers, and transaction details

- Utilize scale computers and software for data entry, record updates, and invoicing.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in a scale house is preferred.

- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.

- Basic math skills.

- Ability to multitask.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 70 per week
