Onsite are roles that have specific onsite requirements and are typically onsite daily.

Hybrid flexible are roles that can be performed remotely but require some level of onsite work/in-person interactions on a regular basis, require employees to live within a commutable distance and, since business needs vary by position and may change over time, managers will set expectations and flexibility regarding where and when work is performed.

Fully remote are roles that can be performed remotely, require employees to live in approved states and will have purpose-driven in-person interactions on occasion.

Job Summary

Co-ordinate and execute the month end-closing process for PSEG's books employing SAP, Hyperion Enterprise, Power Plant, and Blackline.

Job Responsibilities

- Execute complex planning processes. Provide Governance for SAP environment using the GRC-RAR module of SAP.

- Develop and deploy the procedures, controls, and guidelines for updating production financial master data.

- Ensure compliance with existing SOX controls and identify areas where SOX controls are lacking or can be enhanced.

- Analyze business requirements and define system solutions to address complex business needs. Translate solutions into new and enhanced SAP Finance/Controlling (CO) functionality or other software in support of Enterprise clients.

- Provide technical and analytical expertise to ensure the integrity of all financial data.

- Recommend SAP system configuration activities to improve performance and functionality, reviewing and testing changes.

- Coordinate, evaluate, and test financial upgrades including new implementations to production environments ensuring the integrity and correctness of financial data.

- Work with clients, Product Managers, IT, and other SAP Module Experts in a team environment to facilitate efficient and effective business processes.

- Knowledge of business unit/functional area processes, process dependencies and integration across Enterprise is essential.

Job Specific Qualifications

Required Skills:

- Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years related business and technical experience

- Able to identify and develop client solutions for complex business problems and translate the solutions into functional requirements and coordinate with IT to a successful implementation

- Strong analytical, communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills

- Functional knowledge of Finance/Controlling (CO) & SAP ECC, as well as familiarity with PS, FERC, PM, MM, HR, and GRC-RAR modules

Desired Skils:

- Proficiency with Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, WinShuttle

- S4/HANA experience

- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
