About This Job

DSN is seeking an experienced SAP FI/CO Functional Consultant to support our client’s Finance and Controlling (FI/CO) functions within a complex SAP environment. The project involves functional support for SAP hosting services and system operations serving over 5,000 users, including SAP ECC 6.0, BI 7.0, Business Objects, CRM, SRM, Enterprise Portal, Solution Manager, GRC, NWCE, and PI.

This role includes aligning business processes with SAP Best Practices, configuring and customizing FI/CO and FM modules, maintaining system integrity, and supporting component integration with ECC and the Enterprise Portal. The consultant will also be responsible for writing functional and technical specifications, developing test plans, and conducting system testing. The client requires a robust business system that delivers accurate, timely, and actionable financial data to various stakeholders, including federal and state entities.

Key Responsibilities:

•

Design, configure, test, and maintain SAP FI/CO modules (AP, AR, FA, GL, SPL) and SAP FM and Budget modules.

•

Ensure seamless integration across SAP modules.

•

Provide production support by analyzing and resolving technical issues.

•

Work with business users and stakeholders to gather and document requirements.

•

Analyze system changes for potential impacts on connected systems.

•

Create comprehensive documentation in alignment with change control policies.

Required Experience:

•

7+ years of SAP FI/CO configuration

•

5+ years of SAP Funds Management configuration

•

Strong ability to consult on custom/standard SAP solutions

•

Experience writing functional/technical specs, testing, and training

•

Effective communication and documentation skills

Highly Desired:

•

5+ years of public sector experience

•

Knowledge of GAAP

•

Experience with S/4HANA (Finance modules)

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $65.00 - $75.00 per hour
