We are seeking a skilled SAP SAC Planning Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and optimizing SAP Analytics Cloud Planning solutions, enabling advanced analytics and streamlined planning processes. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, translate them into technical requirements, and deliver robust and scalable planning solutions.
Responsible for leading and supporting projects related to production support, enhancement of processes, integration of new business practices or acquisitions in SAC Planning. Provides application support and training of end users while maintaining ITIL service levels. Cooperates with consultants from other modules such as /FI/CO/HR. Provides technical support in the analysis, documentation and configuration of break/fix issues. Applies knowledge in system configuration, integration testing and day-to-day support following the established change and release management processes. Provides effort estimates for break/fix, system enhancements and any new functionality. Assists with the development, configuration and testing of new functionality as requested by the business. Coordinates with IT colleagues on continuous improvement or cross-functional teams.
1. Provides support within area of responsibility for:
a. Business partners in day-to-day process / system issues through Service Desk tickets.
b. Education needs of business partners for:
i. New or problematic areas of system/process
ii. Master data
iii. Report execution
c. After hours and on call jobs
d. Coordinate with third parties to apply upgrades, changes, data updates to ensure that system components are fully compliant.
e. Assist business partners with auditing activities by providing data, reports, or other information to satisfy auditor requests
2. Works with business partners on small enhancement or larger projects to resolve process issues or meet new business requirements while maintaining an SAP best practice approach to reduce custom code. You should be able to lead the design, configuration, deployment of SAP Analytics Cloud Planning solutions.
5. Acts as a project manager for projects in their area of responsibility. This will include managing a project team of internal resources or consultants to deliver a final solution to business partners based on their requirements. It will also involve supporting the business partner leads on the project as well.
6. Works with IT colleagues to ensure best practices are followed for security, compliance, change management and release management. Collaborates internally with other team members on continuous improvement and/or on cross-functional teams. May coach junior team members.
7. Continuous Improvement. Stay updated on SAP SAC Planning advancements, trends, new features. Identify opportunities to enhance planning processes and analytics capabilities within the organization.
8. Other duties and responsibilities as determined by Valvoline from time to time in its sole discretion.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in computer science, information management, or a related field.
