Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer to support multiple HR-related initiatives, including open enrollment support, compliance updates, and technical troubleshooting. This role requires close collaboration with the HR team to translate business needs into effective SAP HR solutions, while adhering to established development standards and practices.
Key Responsibilities:
•Design and develop custom SAP ABAP objects (reports, forms, enhancements) aligned with RICEFW requirements
•Prepare technical specifications, test plans, implementation documents, and user training materials
•Configure the SAP HR module based on business requirements
•Follow Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) practices and SAP CTS (Change and Transport System) processes
•Participate in periodic meetings with stakeholders to exchange status updates and re-align priorities
•Provide technical support for SAP HR issues, payroll schema configuration, and system integration
•Maintain and update request trackers and documentation
Required Skills & Experience:
•Proficiency in HR ABAP Programming with solid understanding of Infotypes
•Strong experience with RICEF objects
•5+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development, specifically in HR modules
•Hands-on experience with Workflows, Reports, Dialog Programming, Interfaces, Smart Forms, SAP Scripts, Adobe Forms, WebDynpro, and Enhancement Framework
•Expertise in ABAP debugging and process analysis
•Knowledge of payroll configuration and schema
•Ability to manage full development lifecycle including: prototyping, technical design, development, unit testing, code reviews, and production support
Education:
•Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
