Position Summary: Sell industrial lubricant products to new and existing accounts in the Toledo/Wauseon, Ohio area.
Essential Functions:
•Uses effective sales techniques to develop, grow, and retain accounts
•Conducts effective sales and product presentations to customers
•Educates customers on product features and benefits to ensure products are understood and used effectively
•Consistently closes sales opportunities
•Develops and maintains business to achieve individual sales revenue targets
•Increases customer same store sales year over year
•Properly qualifies customers
•Develops and maintains client and prospective client relationships through personal visits and all other means of contact to promote sales growth and continual customer satisfaction
•Follows-up on potential leads, orders, inquiries, and issues
•Ensures high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service and consulting
•Committed to addressing and resolving customer complaints in a timely and appropriate manner
•Proactively seeks to improve product knowledge by interacting with internal and external subject matter experts
•Regularly attends sales/training meetings
•Identifies and quickly responds to competitive threats within the territory
•Communicates market intelligence/competitor activity promptly to Automotive Sales Manager
•Files all required reports on time
•Perform other job related duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
•Self-starter with ability to multi-task
•Ability to work independently in assigned region or territory
•Working knowledge of the Automotive and Car Dealership Industry preferred – change to “commercial and industrial” industries – or good mechanical aptitude.
•Must be highly motivated and possess a strong desire for success

Minimum Qualifications
•Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent training and experience in successful sales practices and methods
•Minimum 2 years’ customer facing business-to-business sales with a proven track record of success
•Good driving record, able to meet Vesco Oil Corporation’s driving requirements
•Well-groomed with professional business attire and appearance
•Must be able to drive throughout the workday
