Oxy’s Summer Intern Program runs from May to August for a full 12 weeks. As an Oxy intern, you will have the opportunity to experience real-life projects with hands-on participation in Oxy’s core businesses. Your summer project will be designed to add value to our operations while providing an opportunity to observe your skills and competencies in action. Oxy interns are paired with a manager and mentor in order to provide technical guidance throughout the project timeline. In addition to attending training and development courses, lunch and learns, field trips, and social activities, interns will be given the chance to meet with Oxy executives and leadership throughout the internship. Description

- The intern will receive training on the relevant businesses and products that align with the sponsored project

- Interaction with all key functional teams that will support completion of the project presentation

- Periodic shadowing opportunities with sales representatives to experience the sales role

- Training sessions with sales leadership to develop understanding of OxyChem’s sales process and selling techniques

- Daily interaction with sales management team at Dallas headquarters location

Required

- Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Sales Management, Business Management, Marketing or Engineering with an emphasis in Business

- Must have a graduation date of December 2026 – May 2027

- Must maintain minimum cumulative 2.85 GPA on a 4.0 scale

- Minimum 2 extracurricular and/or work activities

- Desire to pursue a career as a Sales Professional as directed to one of OxyChem’s national locations
