The Marketing / Data Entry Intern will work under the Business Development Manager to support Atlantic’s marketing initiatives, data management, and general administrative tasks. This role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in marketing for a small manufacturing business while contributing to real projects that impact growth and visibility.
You’ll help create marketing materials, support social media efforts, assist with data organization, and contribute to the overall professional image of the company. The position is well-suited for a current college student studying marketing, communications, or business who wants to see firsthand how marketing connects with operations in a growing small business.
- Assist in creating flyers, one-pagers, and capability sheets for customers.
- Draft and schedule social media posts highlighting company updates, projects, and team culture.
- Help design and hang posters, photos, or marketing displays within the facility.
- Capture and organize shop photos or short video clips for use in marketing content.
- Website management
- Organize digital folders and assist with maintaining marketing and sales files.
- Support data entry tasks in Fulcrum ERP or spreadsheets (customer lists, contact information, lead tracking).
- Update customer and supplier records as directed.
- Assist with copying, filing, and other office duties as needed.
- Help prepare materials for trade shows, customer visits, and events.
- Make outbound calls for basic tasks (confirming contact information, event RSVPs, etc.) when required.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to bring fresh marketing ideas to the team.
- Current college student preferred, ideally studying marketing, communications, or business.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Comfort with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and willingness to learn simple design tools (e.g., Canva).
- Clear communicator who is comfortable asking questions and learning new tasks.
- Interest in small business operations and manufacturing is a plus, but not required.
- No prior work experience required — training will be provided.

- Exposure to project management, ERP systems, and business development processes.
