Chemical Intern

Ayrton Energy's vision is to provide affordable, off-grid energy security via clean, safe and scalable storage technologies. Ayrton is looking for a part-time (8-12 hours per week) chemistry or chemical engineer student with experience in a chemical laboratory to join our team. As part of a fast-growing startup, the scientist or engineer in this role can anticipate a large variety of changing role responsibilities as the team grows.

- You enjoy working in cross-functional teams and feel comfortable sharing your ideas

Your Responsibilities:

- Preparation of chemical samples for characterization and testing

- Assembly and disassembly of test stations

- Inventory management of laboratory consumables

Your Skills and Experience:

- Undergraduate student in chemistry, or engineering with lab experience (may be from classes) looking for part-time employment

- Passionate about innovation, self-motivated and keen to learn

- Organized and efficiently able to manage time for laboratory protocols.
