We are looking for an outgoing, professional sales representative to join our Company. Canidate must be able to solicit contractors daily. This poistion includes early moring hours and some saturdays.
We are looking for someone to focus on selling concrete in the Chester and Delaware Counties and the Wilmington, DE area.
Ideal Canidate must have a legal drivers license and a safe driving record.
Previous knowledge of Construction, Construction Materials and Construction Equipment is a plus.

To actively sell and promote company products in an assigned market area. Develops, establishes, and maintains business relationships with prospective and current customers in the assigned territory and/or market segment, generating new business for the organization’s products and services.
- Identifies, develops, and maintains new and existing customers
- Develops an aggressive sales forecast for ready mixed concrete products that will enable the company to reach its profit goals.
- Meets with sales manager regularly to review short- and long-term sales objectives.
- Meet with key customers on a regular basis to get feedback and learn of new opportunities
- Identify markets that the company can exploit and put appropriate sales efforts into place
- Coordinate customer pricing and job quotes, as necessary. Provide required information to billing department so that invoicing can be done timely and accurately
- Prepares and provides quotes on various projects
- Handles customer’s questions, issues, and concerns and seeks to resolve in the most effective and timely was possible
- Works with customers to resolve product or service problems
- Visits job sites regularly to receive customer feedback and ensure customer specifications are being met
- Stays abreast of overall industry and market conditions and trends
- Participates in local, state, and national trade, professional organizations
- Attends regular sales meetings to review performance and set goals
- Keep accurate and timely records and prepare/update required account contact documentation
- Meets and entertains customers in settings such as lunches, dinners, etc
- Being a team player

- Education: Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Construction Management, or related discipline or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Experience in the concrete, cement, or construction industries
- Minimum of (3) years of sales experience
- License/Certifications: ACI Certification preferred
- Valid Driver’s License
Must have adequate level of education to understand oral and written instructions of a technical nature. Must have ability to effectively communicate in English including reading and writing. Must have the ability to maintain satisfactory customer and public relations in performance of duties. Must be able to establish price structure and market analysis. Must have strong negotiation and organizational skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Salesforce, and Sales Insight
This position requires knowledge and awareness of construction and industrial sites. Protective gear will be required where appropriate. Position requires ability to work at multiple sites and varying start times dependent on business needs. Some overtime and weekend work required.
