We are currently seeking a result-driven and customer focused Insides Sales Rep. to join our dynamic team in Puslinch, Ontario. Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will be part of a team of sales professionals driving sales growth in a fast-paced environment.
- Build and Maintain Client Relationships: Strengthen and maintain business relationships with existing clients, identify new opportunities by understanding client needs and providing solutions.
- Quoting and Industry Information: Responding to customer inquiries, generating accurate quotes, providing product information and following up to obtain any market and industry information from the customer.
- Order Management: Processing orders, ensuring accurate order information. Work closely with scheduling, warehouse and operations team to ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
- Market Awareness: Stay informed about industry trends and customer feedback to anticipate market needs and understand competitor activities.
- Experience: Proven experience in inside sales or customer service is preferred, but not mandatory. Experience in a B2B or industrial setting will be considered.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience in the metals industry and service center background are assets.
- Technical Aptitude: Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook) and relevant sales tools; ERP experience and AutoCAD knowledge are pluses.
- Education: Completion of post-secondary education, University / College education preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to present ideas effectively and build rapport.
- Time Management: Effective time management skills, ability to prioritize tasks, and work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Negotiations: Demonstrated ability to lead negotiations effectively, ensuring favorable outcomes for both the company and clients, with a focus on building long-term partnerships.
