We are seeking a self-motivated Sales Agent with a proven track record of driving sales results. This individual will be responsible for building relationships with acreage homeowners, contractors, municipalities, and ideally contaminated property owners and agricultural clients. The role requires frequent travel throughout Alberta and surrounding regions. There is a potential with sales results to transition to a territory manager in the future.
- Identify, pursue, and close new sales opportunities in septic remediation primarily, as well as contaminated soil remediation, and agricultural markets.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships with end customers as well as establishing and fostering relationships with other reseller/installers.
- Provide product demonstrations, technical education, and solutions-based selling.
- Establish and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Track and report on sales activity and pipeline development.
- Proven sales success with a history of consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
- Strong acumen in solution-based, consultative sales.
- Background in the septic industry (80%), horticulture/agriculture (10%), or soil remediation (10%) is preferred.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Highly motivated, independent, and capable of managing a sales territory.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle (vehicle support available).
- Willingness to travel frequently within Alberta and potentially out of province (accommodation support provided).
- Strong CRM experience is critical and Digital Advertising knowledge is an asset- Flexible structure: Full commission or Base + Commission (negotiable based on experience).
