What role you will play in our team

In this role, you will oversee the SSHE department's operations, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and regulatory standards. You'll provide guidance to various departments on SSHE matters and conduct regular inspections to maintain overall compliance. Additionally, you'll lead SSHE-related trainings, participate in assessments, and facilitate the sharing of best practices and lessons learned. Other duties may include administrative tasks assigned by the SSHE supervisor to support the department's objectives effectively.

What you will do

•

Conduct frequent surveillance in the field to observe work activities and address unsafe behaviors and conditions accordingly.

•

Proactively analyze workforce incident trends and communicate relevant SSHE insights or key themes to assist the workforce in a better understanding of relevant hazards and safe work practices.

•

Prepare and deliver safety, health, and environmental training presentations to the workforce as needed.

•

Respond to emergency situations and incidents either during or after regular working hours, to provide technical assistance and advice.

•

Provide guidance to various departments on SSHE matters and conduct regular inspections to maintain overall compliance.

•

Lead SSHE-related trainings, participate in assessments, and facilitate the sharing of best practices and lessons learned.

•

Perform any other administrative tasks assigned by the SSHE supervisor to support the department's objectives effectively.

•

Ensure the area office complies with safety regulations and standards, addressing any non-compliance issues promptly and effectively.

Educational Requirements:

•

B.S. in safety or security preferred but not limited or 5 years of applicable work experience.

•

Minimum 1.5 years' work experience in the oil and gas industry safety-related positions

•

English fluency in reading and writing
