Rubber Extrusion Operator

Job Overview

We are seeking a Rubber Extrusion Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing processes, particularly in extrusion operations.

Responsibilities:

- Set up and operate extrusion machines

- Prepping cylinders on lathe w/ air tools

- Installing cylinders in extrusion machine w/ hoist system

- Setting controls and feeding materials into machine

- Removing cylinders and prepping for the next process

- Checking diameter of cylinders w/ micrometer

- Charting and tracking logs, orders, and production sheets

- Monitor the production process to ensure quality standards are met

- Perform regular machine maintenance and cleaning

- Troubleshoot issues that may arise during production

- Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times

Experience:

- Ability to use tools such as micrometer

- Experience working in a warehouse environment is beneficial

Production Hours:

Monday through Friday, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm

Requirements for the position – Must have a valid Driver’s license, Mechanical aptitude, Willingness to work, Trouble shooting skills, Positive attitude

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
