Summary
This is an hourly non-exempt position that is responsible for scheduling and standing city and county inspections for all roofing projects. The responsibilities include but are not limited to, scheduling and standing city and county inspections, applying for permits, scheduling tear offs, performing final walkthroughs, warranty boxes, and reporting daily to the Roofing Production Manager.
Responsibilities
•County and City Building Department correspondence to obtain necessary permits including applications, emails, in-person retrieval, (when needed), and all correspondence to obtain necessary permits for all roofing projects.
•Produce & submit C&D reports for all Monterey County projects to obtain final inspection.
•Order and schedule delivery/pickup of portable toilets for all projects.
•Responsible for COI submittals.
•Schedule city and county inspections as required, as well as Tear Off/In-Progress inspections & Final Inspections.
•Post Permit & Ladder morning of Final Inspection.
•Permit submittals and requirements such as sending appropriate Certificate of Insurances and Smoke & Carbon Monoxide Affidavits to all customers and maintain this documentation with the project information in Scoop, engineering reports, encroachment permits, and other apps (Carmel)
•Prepare and deliver the final warranty box to all customers.
•Responsible for Malarkey Rebate Program.
•File and label dump tags.
•Participate and update Scoop project management as necessary.
•May perform other related duties as required and/or assigned.
Requirements
•Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role
•Must be bilingual, (Spanish and English)
•Commitment to continued education and training courses and classes
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $30.00 - $36.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 32 per week
