Coordinate manpower needs with other scheduling personnel to ensure proper coverage.
Enter and update scheduling data in the PeopleSoft system weekly.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee files and safety records.
Generate and distribute daily and weekly production reports.
Act as a backup scheduler for the Steel Mill and Wire Mill when needed.
Communicate and collaborate effectively with department leaders and union representatives.
Manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities in a dynamic production environment.
Experience: 3-6 months of related administrative or scheduling experience, preferred.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent, required.
Skills: Strong computer skills - including proficiency with Microsoft Office, ability to learn and work within PeopleSoft (or similar HRIS), excellent organizational and time management abilities, basic typing skills and attention to detail, and confident communicator with the ability to interface effectively with employees across all levels.
