General Summary

The Risk Prevention Specialist supports our Safety Management Team by improving safety culture, managing incident reports and claims, and facilitating return-to-work programs. This role ensures compliance with health and safety regulations while promoting employee well-being.

What You'll Do:

- Manage incident reporting and investigations, ensuring thorough documentation and compliance.

- Oversee workers’ compensation claims and serve as the primary contact for insurance and medical providers.

- Coordinate return-to-work programs, including light-duty assignments and scheduling post-incident treatment.

- Analyze incident trends to recommend process improvements and reduce workplace hazards.

- Maintain OSHA logs, safety incentive programs, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.

Who You Are:

- Knowledge of general safety practices and ability to interpret local, state, and federal regulations.

- Working knowledge of Workers’ Compensation Act and related statutes; 3–5 years experience preferred.

- Familiarity with medical terminology, body systems, and impairments; experience in safety or risk management.

- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Risk Management, or Safety preferred, or equivalent work experience.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office; strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
