Key Responsibilities

- Install and maintain electrical systems for residential and commercial PV solar projects.

- Safely bend and install rigid conduits up to 2" using hand tools, hydraulic benders, and power equipment.

- Read and interpret single-line diagrams and construction sets to complete installations accurately.

- Run DC/AC circuits, install battery backup systems, EV chargers, and perform residential service upgrades.

- Ensure compliance with NEC codes, OSHA standards, and local regulations.

- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues, collaborating with inspectors as needed.

- Maintain accurate documentation, materials, tools, and vehicle upkeep.

- Adhere to Fresh Coast Solar’s high standards for safety and workmanship.

Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise

Requirements

- 3+ years of electrical installation, troubleshooting, and repair experience (required). - Knowledge of NEC codes and local electrical codes (3+ years required).

- Residential solar installation experience (preferred).

- Previous experience supervising projects and team members.

- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

- Comfortable working on rooftops, at heights, in attics, crawl spaces, and outdoor weather conditions.

- Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to multitask.

Schedule: Monday–Friday

- Pay: $35–$45/hour (based on experience) + performance-based bonuses

- Location: Various sites in the Chicagoland area

- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7AM-3:30PM, Overtime available`
