We foster a collaborative, supportive environment where every team member is empowered to contribute and grow and given the support to do so. We're seeking an experienced 02 Electrician to aid in the growth of our electrical service division.
This role involves being dispatched to calls from customers looking for electrical services, providing onsite estimates, and help with installation as needed. You will be working with our apprentices as they learn the electrical trade, taking direction from project managers, working with our customers to understand their electrical needs, collaborating to find creative and innovative solutions, proactively connecting with partners, gaining client’s trust, and helping to execute project details. This role includes sales responsibilities, and requires technical skills for installation. This role is essential to MAD Energy NW’s success and growth and we want the most innovative, open-minded, experienced, and inspiring people in this role.
Residential Service Electrician Responsibilities (include, but are not limited to):
● Act as a leader in the field to produce quality work in an efficient manner.
● Take instruction and learning from our trained project managers and installation crews.
● Document observations, testing results, final diagnosis, and steps taken to resolve issues.
● Maintain a safe and professional work environment.
● Traveling to and from our customer’s locations.
● Respond promptly and professionally to emails, calls, and other communications.
● Providing accurate estimates and follow-up to close deals.
● Proficiency in Google Workspace apps (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Calendar, etc.).
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a willingness to make calls and engage directly with customers.
● Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
● Mechanically-minded and experienced in residential electrical work including, but not limited to, troubleshooting, rewires, and service changes/upgrades.
● Proactive problem-solving skills and a customer-focused approach.
● Team player mindset with high emotional intelligence.
● Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
● Knowledge of how to use an iPad as a service tool.
● Familiarity with permitting processes and scheduling practices.
