What You’ve Accomplished

- Completion of a High School diploma or equivalent and at least 4 years of related experience

- Associate's Degree in Electrical with at least 2 years of related experience will also be accepted

- Broad understanding of electrical building code requirements.

- General knowledge of OSHA and NFPA rules and regulations.

- Ability to read drawings and schematics, understand electrical symbols, recognize electrical components, use hand tools related to the job, and operate test equipment.

- Proficient in technical and general office computer skills.

- Be familiar with the company’s safety and health policy and program.

As a Maintenance Electrician in Lynchburg, VA, you will be part of the proven team in the Facilities Maintenance Business Line in the Installed Base Business Unit. Your work will include:

- Inspects, repairs, installs, modifies, and maintains electrical/electronic systems, circuits, and equipment.

- Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.

- Competence to perform tasks that may impact on health and safety in the workplace.

- Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

- Performs a variety of tasks.

- Works under general supervision.

- A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.

- Typically reports to a supervisor/manager.

Your Total Rewards Package

The range of base salary for the position is between $26.90 - $35.30 per hour, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
