This position will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing Reliability Services baseline work and projects from initiation through completion. This position will coordinate projects with cross-functional teams along with ACES Members and Customers.
- Identify project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders
- Track resource loading
- Create and manage member and client project plans, schedules, deliverables, and deadlines
- Create and manage GOP Services’ compliance schedules, deadlines, and deliverables
- Create and manage ACES NERC Audit schedules, deadlines, and deliverables
- Monitor and report on project tasks and overall status
- Identify potential risks in meeting task and/or project due dates
- Support the development of mitigation strategies for all assigned projects
- Lead and motivate project teams and facilitate project meetings
- Ensure effective communication with all assigned project teams
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders, provide regular project updates, and escalate issues as needed
- Ensure proper project documentation and conduct post-project reviews
- Ability to travel
- Adheres to and is supportive of all ACES corporate policies and complies with all regulatory requirements including but not limited to NERC, FERC and relevant state regulations as applicable to the position
- Any additional responsibilities assigned by management
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering or other related disciplines are preferred
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred
- 5+ years of project management experience- Ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple projects with distinct attention to detail
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
