Regional Manager
Overview: A Regional Manager will oversee the operations and performance of multiple gas station locations throughout the St. Louis area. This person will be responsible for driving sales, maintaining operational standards, and ensuring profitability across all locations.
Key Responsibilities:
•
Oversee all store managers and their teams by providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure effective operations and performance.
•
Monitor KPI’s such as sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction, setting goals and targets for each location, and implementing strategies to achieve them.
•
Ensure all stations adhere to company standards for safety, cleanliness, inventory management, and customer service.
•
Ensure that all food served at Express Energy complies with state and local health codes.
•
Hire employees, train new employees, and terminate employees who do not meet job requirements.
•
Help create manager schedules and training for staff at all stores.
•
Use market research to capitalize on consumer trends, to determine expected sales volume for new products, and to set competitive prices.
•
Ensure all gas stations in the region operate efficiently and effectively, adhering to company policies and regulations related to safety, security, and customer service.
•
Stay up to date on all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies, ensuring all gas stations in the region comply with them.
•
Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and market share, while also managing expenses and budgets effectively.
•
Build trust and rapport with store managers and associates to better help them in their roles.
•
Create and maintain a training program that focuses on promoting from within.
•
Streamline processes to help improve the efficiency of tasks.
Skills/Qualifications:
•
Ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and effectively, while maintaining a positive and professional attitude.
•
Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop strategies to improve performance.
•
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
•
Strong understanding of retail operations, sales, and marketing principles.
•
2+ year’s experience working in a regional manager setting.
•
1+ year’s experience working in a gas station.
•
Knowledge of PDI software preferred.
