POSITION SUMMARY
The Regional Director – Central, leads customer relationship management efforts, driving business growth and sales excellence. This role focuses on developing, mentoring, and guiding a high-performing team to maintain and expand a satisfied customer base for Aerzen’s blower and compressor solutions. This role plays a critical part in driving long-term business growth by identifying market opportunities and aligning strategies with organizational goals. You will manage key accounts, define strategic initiatives, and foster collaboration across teams while identifying sales opportunities and maintaining strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
•Cultivate a culture of success, collaboration, and continuous improvement, aligned with the company’s goals.
•Define and implement the go-to-market strategy for sales and aftersales in the Central region, ensuring seamless daily operations. This strategy ensures alignment with broader corporate objectives, enhancing Aerzen’s market position and customer reach.
•Direct account management efforts for key OEM and municipal representative accounts, strengthening client relationships and driving sales growth.
•Support and guide the sales team’s interactions with end-user customers, engineering firms, and OEMs to influence purchasing decisions.
•Recruit, mentor, and manage the performance of regional team members, fostering their professional growth.
•Develop and execute sales forecasts, projections, and strategies, reporting progress to senior leadership as needed.
•Oversee budget management for the regional office, ensuring efficient use of resources.
•Collaborate with marketing to create and execute regional marketing plans and support trade show preparations.
•Ensuring smooth execution and effective customer follow-up for orders.
•Collaborate with Aerzen Canada department leads to improve sales, order execution, and aftersales processes. Provide input to operations team to align internal processes with customer needs and market dynamics.
•Actively participate in global account management initiatives, supporting opportunities with key accounts that operate internationally.
•Monitor customer, market, and competitor activities, providing strategic feedback to leadership and other internal teams.
•Travel as required to strengthen high-level customer relationships and promote Aerzen solutions. Building strong relationships with senior stakeholders ensures alignment between Aerzen’s solutions and the strategic objectives of key customers.
•Ensure compliance with OSHA and company health, safety, and environmental standards.
•Administrative duties including managing timecards, expenses and PTO approvals.

SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education and experience
•Bachelor’s degree or technical diploma preferred.
•Minimum of 5 years of experience leading and developing teams.
•At least 7 years of experience with industrial equipment; knowledge of rotary screw compressors and/or positive displacement blowers is an asset.
•Proven experience managing sales channels directly and through representatives, contractors, and EPCs.
Language
Fluent in English, written and spoken, basic proficiency in French is an asset.
Computer skills:
•Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
•Strong experience with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics preferred), product configurator software, and CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred).

•Frequently required to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.
•Occasionally required to handle tools and lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
•Occasionally required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for site visits or in warehouse areas.
