Join BBA as the Vancouver Office Director and lead a dynamic team of over 150 professionals. You’ll be at the forefront of delivering complex projects in the Mining, Energy, Chemical, Power and Industrial markets. At BBA, we’re involved in all project phases, from front end studies through field implementation, with a focus on detailed engineering. As part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team, you’ll manage the office’s human, financial and material resources and oversee the activities required to fulfill BBA’s operational objectives.
You’ll be using your leadership skills every day, whether it’s to develop trusting relationships with our employees and partners in the region, deliver projects and strategic objectives, train the next generation or manage a passionate team.
This role will give you the opportunity to take the lead, while also being in the thick of the action by working closely with talented people.

Summary of certifications and job requirements
•Bachelor’s degree in engineering and member in good standing with Engineers and Geoscientists BC(EGBC)
•15+ years of relevant experience in consulting engineering
•In-depth knowledge of multidisciplinary engineering and project management
•Experience in engaging and managing technical teams
•Excellent soft skills and collaborative management skills
•Experience and interest in business development
•Experience in organizational development and in managing multidisciplinary work teams
•Demonstrated experience in achieving operational KPIs and driving performance improvements
•An ambassador of the firm’s values, promoting them and leading by example.

•Annual base salary between $170 000 to $225 000
