Corporate owned Recreational Camp in West Columbia, TX hosts corporate executives and clients.
- Assist chef with food prep, cooking, baking, & clean-up.
- Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat etc.)
- Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen.
- Experience in using cutting tools, cookware, and bakeware.
- Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, boiling, baking, etc.)
- May assist with other camp duties as requested.
- Maintains a professional relationship with the residents of the Recreational Camp by performing the duties identified for this position in a courteous, efficient manner.
- Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company- related practices.
- High school diploma or GED
- 2 years previous Cooking and food handling experience required.
- 1 year Baking or pastry experience
- Hospitality /cooking knowledge or worked in a similar field is a plus.
- Excellent cleanliness, prioritization, and time management skills
- Must be professional, reliable, and task oriented.
- Ability to work in a team with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance.
- Very good communication skills
- Current driver's license
- Candidate must be able to legally work and reside in the US.
- Must pass pre-employment Drug & Alcohol Screen, Physical, and Background check
