Position Hours: Primarily 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM (Monday - Friday)
Salaries are based on a number of factors, including the skills and experience of the candidates. It is common to be hired at the lower to middle end of a salary range and while it is possible to be hired at the higher end, it often requires unique circumstances, such as proven expertise.

Summary: The Receiving Technician is responsible for following schedules and instructions to maintain a real time plow through the shipping and receiving areas in the plant, verifying and documenting the condition of received customer product.
Examine shipment contents and compare with records, such as manifests, invoices, or purchase orders, to verify in accordance with ThermTech practices.
Verify and record information to forward to the order entry team in the creation of work orders.
Contact customers to resolve discrepancies found.
Place orders on hold, maintaining relevant documentation, and manage the hold area for timely resolution.
Operate a fork truck to unload customers and to deliver/route materials to the appropriate location.
Requisition and store shipping materials and supplies to maintain inventory of stock.
Prepare documents, tags, bills of lading, or shipping orders, to route materials.
Pack, seal, label, or affix postage to prepare materials for shipping, using hand tools, power tools, or postage meter.
Contact carrier representatives to make arrangements or to issue instructions for shipping and delivery of materials.
Determine shipping methods, routes, or rates for materials to be shipped.
Maintain work space cleanliness and organization.
Monitor work waiting for shipment, verify status, report and deficiencies.

Physical amp; Mental Demands: The following physical and mental demands consist of but are not limited to the following:
Must be able to work in a standing position for extended periods in a non-climate controlled industrial environment
Ability to bend, pull, stoop, and reach to perform functions.
Capable of lifting and carrying at least 25-pound objects throughout shift
Must be exposed to heat, fumes, noise, humidity, etc.
Must have the cognitive and mental capacity to perform essential job functions.
Must demonstrate the ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language.
Must demonstrate the ability to perform fundamental mathematical skills and concepts (e.g. addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals, percentages, and the basics of algebra and geometry).
Visual acuity to read documents, computer screens, files, etc.
Ability to hear in person and via phone.
Experience: Prior receiving or office experience is preferred
Proficient computer skills in Bluestreak (ERP/MRP), Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
