Receiving Operator

Position Summary:

- Receive all products into the warehouse and load outbound shipments

- Pick merchandise from warehouse for orders and review each order for accurate counts

- Use the computer system to do various transactions for shipping/receiving

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

- Receive materials into the warehouse, unload trucks and enter all merchandise into the computer system

- Inventory Transactions in the computer system

- Labeling certain items with correct part numbers when needed

- Load outbound shipments onto trucks

- Assemble part kits as needed

- Pick and review orders

- Log information, sort merchandise and help with inventory as needed

- Sort through returned merchandise and log the information in accurately

- Maintain cleanliness on the shop floor

- UPS World Ship

- Perform final packaging of completed orders

- Organize and maintain inventory and storage locations

Qualifications

- Warehouse experience preferred

- Forklift Qualification preferred

- Computer literate with Microsoft Outlook proficiency

- Must be able to lift 45lbs

- Excellent verbal communication skills

- Detail oriented

- Ability to work independently

- Ability/willingness to work with all levels of staff within the organization

- High School diploma or equivalent, basic math skills required

Shift: 8-hour shift
