An Operator is responsible for the operation of machinery and equipment used in the production of goods. Their duties include setting up, maintaining, and controlling machinery, conducting tests and repairs, and operating tools to create or transport products.
Operators must be knowledgeable about different parts of the machine and troubleshoot any challenges that may arise.
- A High School diploma is required.
- Should have at least 2 years of specific work experience.
- Must possess necessary licenses, certificates and registrations to safely perform the functions of a forklift operator.
- Must be a detail oriented, self-starter and able to work with little supervision while maintaining goals/tasks.
- Should have good PC skills to include all MS Office products.
- Must have good written and verbal communication skills and be able to effectively communicate with staff, management, customers and vendors.
- Must possess sound reasoning skills and have the ability to follow directions.
Successful completion of onboarding prerequisites: Background screening, including a review of driving records. Possession of a valid driver's license. Full clearance of a medical examination, which includes drug screening, physical assessment, and fitness for duty evaluation. Rotation: 3 weeks on, 3 weeks off (subject to change)

- Ability to ascend and descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding, and/or ramps while carrying tools requiring a reasonable degree of physical stamina and agility and involving moderate to severe physical exertion

Machine Operation: Operate machinery and equipment according to established procedures.
Setup and Calibration: Set up machines for production cycles, including calibration and cleaning.
Monitoring and Adjustment: Control and adjust machine settings (e.g., speed) during production.
Material Handling: Feed raw materials or parts into semi-automated machines.
Quality Inspection: Inspect parts using precision tools and measuring instruments.
Maintenance and Repairs: Test machine operation periodically and address issues during the shift.
Record Keeping: Maintain records of approved and defective units or final products.
