The R&D Technician supports the development, prototyping, and testing of new products and processes. This position requires skills in metal forming, welding, blueprint interpretation, and equipment operation. This role works closely with engineer and design teams to validate designs and contribute to process innovation through hands on experience.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, talk and/or hear, and/or use hands to finger, handle, touch objects, tools and controls. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The mental and physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an individual to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
Work is performed in an office and manufacturing plant environment. Employee will be required to wear all required personal protective equipment when on the manufacturing floor. This is an onsite role, requiring consistent presence at the location.
