What You’ve Accomplished

- Completion of a High School diploma or equivalent

- At least 8 years of directly related experience

- For surveillance roles, this must include at least 5 years of nuclear facility experience

- Advanced knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the field

- Good communication skills to comprehend procedures, specifications, and drawings with the ability to work effectively with all levels of staff, management, vendors, and customers

- Ability to evaluate documentation for compliance

As a Quality Technician in Richland, WA, you will be part of the proven team in the Quality Business Line in the Fuel Business Unit. Your work will include:

- Conduct physical measurements and tests of components as needed to verify quality characteristics

- Utilize judgment and experience to identify issues which affect product quality in manufacturing areas

- Utilize judgment and experience to identify procedural and process weaknesses in manufacturing areas

- Conduct independent verification of completion of actions reported as complete within the corrective action program

- To play an active role in creating a safe and healthy workplace and comply with all applicable safety and health rules

- Perform documentation reviews to ensure supplier and manufacturing compliance with specifications, drawings, and purchase orders

- Create CR condition reports as needed

Framatome’s Richland, WA facility is a licensed nuclear fuel manufacturing site and complies with US Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and US Department of Energy (DOE) regulations. Your Total Rewards Package

The range of base salary for the position is between $33.20 - $43.50 per hour, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
