Privately held manufacturer of insulated electronic wire and cable products for the military, aerospace and other high performance industrial applications which is AS9100 and ISO9001 certified, is looking for an experienced Quality Technician/ Inspector.
Some of the things that are needed as a Quality Inspector Technician: Proficient use of measuring devices, micrometers calipers and hand tools. Perform In-Process inspection as directed. Perform all required Qualification Testing (QPL) including but not limited to conductor tensile strength, insulation concentrically, insulation circumferential elongation, flammability testing, surface resistance, cross link proof, wrap back test, blocking, shrinkage, low temperature cold bend, life cycle, smoke test, bend test wicking, thermal shock, humidity resistance test and strand adhesion. Verify product conforms to inspection criteria, interpret and use customer and military specifications for inspection test purposes. Perform all work tasks with minimal supervision.
Strong knowledge of Excel and MS Word. Minimum of 2 years of quality inspection experience.
· 5+ years experience in a manufacturing environment.
· Specific knowledge of ISO standard and its application in industry.
· Strong knowledge of Excel and MS Word.

1. Verify product conforms to inspection criteria using established inspection techniques.
2. Identify and document product nonconformance’s using Material Deficiency Reports.
3. Perform destructive tests in accordance with QA test procedures.
4. Perform electrical tests in accordance with QA test procedures.
5. Prepare certificates of conformance and certified test reports using the computer.
7. Read, interpret, and use customer and military specifications.
9. Maintain issued tools in good working order.
14. Maintain QA Records in accordance with QA procedures.
15. Communicate ideas, problems, and suggestions to supervisory authority.
17. Prepare product and documentation for presentation to customer.
20. Move material to Shipping in a safe manner.
1. Proficient use of measuring devices (micrometer & calipers) & hand tools

5. Working knowledge of Excel and MS Word
1. Must have adequate vision. Use of corrective lenses as needed.
2. Demonstrate 12th grade or higher math and English skills
