Summary

Reporting to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager, this person will be responsible for conducting general maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing of manufacturing equipment.

Essential Duties

- Perform preventive, predictive maintenance, and total productive maintenance in accordance with standardized procedures.

- Be able to interact with operators, supervisors, and co-workers in a team-oriented fashion towards a common goal.

- Able to research on the Internet for manuals and instructions from component manufacturers.

- Troubleshoot faults and breakdowns using instruments, blueprints, manuals, manufacturer specifications, machine diagnosis, and control parameters.

- Keep records of faults and alarms by date, machine number in computer database.

- Propose and implement improvements to existing products, processes, and procedures.

- Assist Manufacturing Engineer in NPI (New Product Introduction) and process improvement.

- Provide production floor support as required.

- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education

- Preferred- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)

- Be able to read, write and speak English fluently

Experience

- Two years minimum manufacturing experience.

- Ability to perform basic math, including use of calculators.

Skills & Abilities

- Experience with using a computer and or ability to learn basic usage of Microsoft Office Excel and Outlook

- Experience wiring electrical panels, instrumentation and devices and point-to-point testing.

- Ability to work from detailed schematics, wire lists, bill of materials, engineering drawings and

documentation.

- Must be familiar with LOTO (Lock out Tag Out)

Position Type, Schedule and Travel

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
