We are looking for a Quality Inspector to join our team in Midland, TX

SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for inspecting and testing products to ensure they meet production standards .

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

- Reading blueprints and specifications to ensure that operations meet quality standards

- Inspects material and equipment for compliance to purchase order, drawings and applicable quality requirement

- Inspecting and testing the materials and equipment

- Using testing equipment such as micrometers and others to measure products

- Support the closure of corrective actions created because of quality related issues

- Accepting or rejecting finished products and discussing inspection results

- Performing inspections at random to assess product quality

- Participate in internal audits of the Quality Management System

- Participate in various continuous improvement projects to identify and resolve recurring product quality and reliability problems

- Assist facility production personnel in troubleshooting quality issues

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

- High School Diploma

- Quality Inspection experience preferred.

- Experience in the Artificial Lift/Oil & Gas Industry preferred

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE:

- Strong computer and analytical skills

- Knowledge of quality testing equipment

- Strong verbal and written communication skills, the ability to interact effectively with customer and suppliers

- Team focused and ability to relate well in an operationally diverse work environment
