Under the general direction of the VP Quality & EHS, the Quality & EHS Manager serves as leader in defining, creating, improving, and maintaining all processes related Quality & Environmental, Health & Safety within the company; providing direction and expertise to Sales, Operations, Purchasing, and Management teams and leadership.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Embraces the 1 T.E.A.M culture.
- Interfaces with customers, vendors, process teams and organizational process leadership.
- Develops, improves, and maintains all team training and reference guides in collaboration with organizational process leadership and Human Resources to ensure all Quality and EHS statutory and regulatory requirements are met.
- Develops and maintains Company Safety Programs.
- Develops and maintains Document Control System requirements.
- Develops and maintains Internal Audit Program.
- Maintains Quality Management System certifications.
- Develop and implement KPI tools for organization.
- Works closely with organizational leadership to identify areas for Quality & Safety improvements.
- Proactively manage Quality & Safety performance to goals and objectives.
- Manage complex issues. Supervise and/or assist with the resolution of issues, providing recommendations to the commercial team.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Quality Technician, as applicable.
- Quality Improvement Associate, as applicable.
- Provide quality and safety focused guidance to organizational leadership and process teams, will serve on committees and special teams and perform other duties as assigned.

- Knowledge of principles and processes.

- Ability to identify complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
- High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
- Associates or bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience, preferred.
- Industry knowledge and experience, a plus.
- CSM or SDC (NASP)
- ASQ Certifications
- CMQ/OE
