Quality Engineer

Stewart EFI a Manufacturing company in Thomaston CT is seeking a Quality Engineer. Duties will include but not limited to: Participating in APQP process, assisting with the development and submittal of PPAPs, APQP Flow Charts, PSW, and Control Plans. Assisting the Quality Manager with establishing, implementing and maintaining our Quality Management System TS16949, QS9001 and working with the Quality Supplier Engineer with our suppliers performance which includes auditing of our suppliers, timely resolution of supplier performance failure, corrective actions and preventative actions. You will also be collaborating, mentoring and training other in gage techniques, quality tools such as CMM and realities of SPC, performing capability studies and to present the data in QA reports. Interfacing with many inside and out the organization via verbal or written communication to ensure the transfer to knowledge and experience that products are in accordance with approved data.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
