Job Summary
Plans and conducts activities concerned with the quality control and quality assurance of industrial processes, materials and products. Improve safety, quality, delivery, productivity and cost. Continuously improve levels of customer and associate satisfaction while improving efficiency.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Analytical Problem Solving/Root Cause Analyses (RCCA, 5 Why, CAPA, 8D and other core tools). Direct contact with internal and external teams towards the implementation of Corrective Action.
- Update Process Control Plans and PFMEA based on RCCA activity and new process introduction.
- Coordinates and leads PPAP submission and monitors First Article Inspection data collection.
- Perform statistical analyses to verify process capabilities.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable customers, environment and safety requirements.
- Internal and Vendor Auditing.
- Drives development of standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation.
- Aid in support of gage calibration and performance of MSA studies (GR&R).
- Devises sampling procedures and designs and develops forms and instructions for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality and reliability data.
- Application of statistical process control (SPC) methods for analyzing data to evaluate the current process and process changes.
- Communicates significant issues or developments identified during quality activities and provides recommended process improvements to management.
- Engage in measuring, testing, and tabulating data concerning materials, product, or process quality and reliability.
