Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards, comply with industry regulations, an increase customer satisfaction. This position involves working closely with cross-functional teams to implement quality control processes, maintain compliance with ISO, AS9100, ITAR regulations, and identify and improve the outcomes of manufacturing and operational processes and reduce scrap cost.
Responsibilities and Duties
•The QE will be responsible to perform precision inspection verifications on machined parts, components, assemblies and materials. May include but is not limited to first article parts, in-process and final inspection on assemblies, and materials for workmanship and conformance to specifications / drawings.
•Approves or rejects items and documents inspection results as required.
•Identify and facilitate process improvement projects, to drive cultural change.
•Conduct internal audits per our AS9100D schedule.
•Lead continuous improvement project teams on strategic projects within plant operations.
•Conduct root cause analysis to determine metrics, troubleshoot manufacturing/ business and assembly issues, material flow, project plans and create process documentation.
•Drive value stream mapping to define “As-Is Analysis” and the transition to Future State to drive results to ensure change is permanent.
•Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications/Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent
•4 years of relevant experience; or a Bachelor’s degree in related discipline or technical school training courses may offset some or all experience requirement.
•Training in Lean manufacturing and Internal Auditing.
•Must be familiar with MSOffice with the ability to prepare spreadsheets.
•The ability to write effectively, to read and understand work documents, to communicate information clearly to co-workers and Management.
•Functional understanding of ISO 9001/AS9100 requirements required.
•Passion, energy, sense of urgency, with a track record of setting goals and achieving them is required.
•Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills with leadership skills and growth potential required.

The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The position requires frequent lifting, pushing and pulling objects that are 50 pounds or heavier
•While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud
