Shift: Day Shift 5:00am to 3:30pm

- Work in a safe manner according to SFOR safety policies.
- Use the time clock system to track the job and project hours.
- Perform accurate quality checks of all products and materials during production and prior to shipping.
- Coordinate QC inspections with the Supervisor to ensure production needs and dates are met.
- Work with the Supervisors, and QC personnel as a team to ensure product meets requirements.
- Perform dimensional checks that may need be done in cold, heat or rain, both indoors and outdoors.
- Coordinate with Supervisor and shop management to resolve issues and ensure work is completed to meet and exceed the quality requirements. Coordinate with Supervisor and shop personnel to stop work on projects should QC issues be discovered.
- Technician will be required to use the computerized scan system for QC of parts.
- Understand, comply with, and be able to communicate SFOR SteelFab procedures and directives.
- Review Drawings and Procedures as directed by the QC Supervisor.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Technician will be required to have knowledge of weld inspection & fabrication measuring devices and tools.
- Computer skills to open and mark up drawings, read and modify spreadsheets, operate standard Microsoft programs.
- Ability to understand and retain training on codes, specifications. Interest in expanding code knowledge.
- Open to opportunities to pursue becoming an AWS Certified Welding Inspector - preferred.
- Open to opportunities to obtain UT and MT qualifications - preferred.
- Clean pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.
- Clean background screening that includes previous employment, education, criminal history and driving record verification.
